"Just to be alive is a grand thing"

Agatha Christie.

Alex, Katie and Edwina

Peter and the girls at Wiggle World

Katie Barton is 39 (40 in August) and married to a grazier, Peter. They have two young daughters, Alexandra and Edwina. Katie and Peter have been married for 13 years and live on a sheep property between Wellington and Mudgee, in central western NSW. They share a passion for the land, their rural lifestyle, personal development and making a difference to society. Together, they have dealt with many health issues, which has made them realise the importance of fulfilling their dreams. Katie's passion is creativity and this dominates her approach to life and her work as Director of Percy Street Gallery in Wellington.

Percy Street Gallery is the realisation of a long-term dream - it is a combination of all my passions - art, interior design, creativity and people. The business is set up in an old renovated terrace house, presented as if you're walking into a home with a unique range of home-wares, gifts and original artwork from around the world. I also offer colour and room make-over (design and decoration) consultancy services as part of my training as an interior designer. Keen to promote fine arts, I run exhibitions and host workshops throughout the year for all ages. My aim is to generate a vibrant, artistic community in Wellington.

Please come and visit me at the Gallery.
Thank you for visiting my web site.
I wish you and your families all the best for 2007.

Yours artistically
